But we had 156 new pokemon in GEN V witch it only lastedd 2,5 yeers.
Gen VI introduced 72 new pokemon,a really low number,also they had to model 721 pokemon.
Also this is an odd gen...i mean if they can make 72 pokemon in XY when they had a lot more work i don't know why they can't make at least 100 in the 20th anyversary game.

In any case,we need to be happy that they stil make new pokemon,they can say: meh,let's not make anymore new pokemon,and we get fucked and the franchise gets boring forever.

I honestly wonder what we've been shown in the past compared to today.

Someone could go back and look at.the reveals for X/Y, B/W, D/P, R/S and see okay this many pokemon were shown, and they released this many pokemon that gen. The shown pokemon were X% of the final released Pokedex.

Having less pokemon would be a good thing,we have 700+,why do you want more pokemon?
