So, /vp/, what's YOUR favorite item?
>>28186387
So you willingly drain from a pokemon's very will to carry on just so they're -that- little bit stronger?
God you're pathetic.
>>28186387
Deez nuts
Just as the item itself?
All of the plates are cool imo
Meme berries that most people forget exist
>>28186432
I love colbur berry. It's so good.
>>28186387
Red card
>>28186421
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD SHARING ON r/Pokémon XD!
Favorite item? Probably full restores since their trollzy
Unless you specifically meant hold items, in which case I think berry juice is top tier
Stick
>>28186446
>Colbur berry has tiny hooks
>If it's on a Psychic type, it can't be stolen with Thief or knocked off
DEEPEST LORE
I guess the Heat rock since I like sun teams a lot.
Leftovers are a classic for me. There're basically No negatives to having them on any Pokemon as far as I'm concerned (call me a noob with no variety if you want)
Metronome
Fuck your shit my porygon has tri attack in every slot
>>28186387
Weakness policy is lit
>>28186482
Excellent taste.
>>28186427
whats the difference between, lets say, a meadow plate and a miracle seed?
>>28186709
Plates change Arceus' type. That's the only difference.
>>28186709nothing anymore
Berserk gene
>>28186752
I miss that
it was cool
>>28186744
what was it before? are you talking about the inscriptions on them from DPPt?
>>28186387
My lop wears
Top spot is shared amongst Amulet Coin, Soothe Bell, and Smoke Ball.
non-held-item-wise, i've always liked mail. sucks that they neutered it after gen iii, i feel like if someone goes to the trouble of actually using mail to send a message you should be able to handle having to read LICK MY BIG HEAD ... MUCH OBLIGED every now and again.
it was also kind of fun to collect when that meant you had to actually complete most of the otherwise useless in-game trades. now you just, what, check the pokemarts next to bridges?
Never forget.
>>28186387
It's just hilarious for a slow pokemon to go before a faster pokemon. They should increase the chance to 50% so maybe it can see competitive play.
I would love to see quick claw as an ability.
For me it's a tie between pic related
>>28186614
this and lifeorb are good too
>>28186387
life orb and weakness policy
>>28187344
shit I dropped pic
Life Orb
>>28189647
Grimer is also my favourite item
>>28186387
Black Sludge and Leftover
>>28186409
I hated this item too but then I discovered Sheer Force Feraligatr.
All the 30% added damage from the ability then the 30% added damage from the orb, and then the ability coming back around again and negating the life drain from the orb so you have a 60% attack buff with no strings attack has got me from :o to 8O
>>28186881
Come back please :^(
>Leftovers, toxic and protect is literally all i need to beat you.
>>28189706
Me and Nidoking too.
Except Feraligatr gets Dragon Dance.
Which is %O
>>28189771
my Feraligatr bro gives your Nidobro a high five filled with nothing but sheer force
Held item wise? Either the amulet coin or the life orb.
Just in general wise? Spelon berry. It just has the perfect shape.
>>28189706
It wouldn't be 60%, it's be closer to 45%.
>>28189882
OG Pyukumuku
>>28189895
I always sucked at math.
Where did I mess up?
>Hahaha trainer have fun relying on nothing but RNG for 20 minutes before you add me to your collection while praying I have the correct nature or you have to do it all over ag-
>Oh nvm
>>28189930
You add the 30% to the base (so if it were 100, it'd come out 130.) Then you multiply that number (130) by 1.3 (making it add a 30% increase.) That would be 169 according to my calculator. Hope that helps.
We also learned that I suck at guestimating the numbers, so don't feel bad about not knowing.
>>28189895
What? Sheer Force's 30% boost and Life Orb's 30% bost make approximately 169% power. Where are you even getting under 60? Sheer force doesn't just arbitrarily take a fraction of 30%.
>>28190002
>>28189966
I guessed wrong, but I understood how it works.
