Do you think Alolan forms will get new stat distributions, or will they have similar stats to their base forms? Will we even see an overall buff to their bst as a whole?
If they do get buffed base stat totals, could we possibly see a buff to the normal version's stats as well?

I think It'll be new distribution, but bst total will still be the same.
I kinda see it like Gourgeist Small to Large kinda stat variation.
I think they've said that Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash are slower than their counterparts.
I'd assume stats will be distributed differently but they'll have the same total.
I don't want Alolan forms to just be better. I'd like them to act as alternatives.

They hope that they'll do another run-through of all the shitmons and give them a 10 BST increase, like with this gen.
The stat buffs in the Gen really opened up the door for a whole bunch of retcons that'll improve the game, such as slightly improving the stats of previous shitmons and fixing up certain evolution methods.

This. And probably changing the stat around a bit more, like switching Nidoking Attack for SpA.
Same BST, new distribution. They hinted that Alolan Sandslash loses speed in favor of defense.
Sandshrew/Sandslash's description seems to indicate it gets SLOWER

This should have happened a long time ago, it still hurts.
