Do wild Pokemon ever catch rabies? If so, and your Pokemon got bit, would you have Nurse Joy put it down, or would you just take it out back and shoot it?
>inb4 Full Heal, etc.
Rabies is a virus, not a status condition. Items don't cure PokeRus, either. So what's it gonna be, the bitch or the bullet?

I would just let it in the pokeball, So one day they find a cure.

Take it to the PokemonCenter you silly goose

Personally, I'd go with the shotgun, but the needle is pretty humane, too, I guess.

Or have them vaccinated.
Like a responsible trainer.

Rabies doesn't exist in their world. The closest thing I can think of is when an electric type gets overcharged, it goes savage and could explode. But that can be treated.

This.
Plus there's many that couldn't catch rabies anyway (the repitilian and amphibian and bird ones, plus all object and ghost ones). Rabies is a mammal disease.

rabies affects mammals only, all pokemon that breed do so with eggs, those that don't are legendary so i'd assume arent mammals either. If you really just want us to answer the question of whether or not we would rather kill our pokemon ourself or have someone else do it than just phrase it as such or else you will have people arguing the semantics of the conditions surrounding your question and not the question itself
