I've always loved artwork with clouds in it. Have you ever looked closely at the Y cartridge artwork? It's absolutely gorgeous.
Why are gen 3 image so comfy?

I'm sorry, did you mean Comfey thread?
these always make me sad that pokemon aren't real
>>28135404
Personally, it was the comfiest gen for me.
The music is either exhilarating or peaceful. The locations vary from the tall grass and rain of Route 121, to the tropical Sevii Islands to the wastes of Orre. The graphics were beautiful, sprites felt fully realized and were depicted in full vibrant color. The Pokemon designs to that point were all great. The core gameplay was coming into it's own, and there were enough spinoffs that everyone could find something in it. Even the EX era TCG reflects these feelings.

Me too. And nips seem to have a thing for drawing vast refreshing blue skys with cotton like clouds a lot. Maybe it's their awful weather in real life or maybe is growing up watching Laputa too many times. Whatever it is I'm glad.

>that mawile sewing machine
CUTE. CUTE!!
>>28135139
Oh, that's pretty cool. I miss when the cartridges were colored to match the game's name.

Give it 30 years and virtual reality will be the best alternative.

Something about seeing pokemon living and how they handle stuff like storms and hunting. Its quite bizarre how the pokedex entries make them sound quite predatory and violent but its never shown in any of the media. The pokedex makes a lot of pokemon sound like absolute monsters and even worse then animals in that they actually take pleasure in their violence.

Oops, meant to end that first sentence with "is really interesting".
>>28143804
I know, isn't it interesting?! They range to all kinds of intelligence. It's like they can all communicate vaguely with each other yet still get controlled by their natural instincts. I'm guessing a pokeball would subdue said instincts, but either way it's truly is fascinating!

>>28147040
No shit in hell I'd do something like that. Don't these people know about predators?
>>28147491
In their world, he's riding one of the larger possible predators that has an amazing type advantage over whatever might come for them whether it be from the sky or the waters.
>>28147558
That gyarados under them isn't attacking because it fears the lanturn.
>>28147630
>That gyarados under them isn't attacking because it fears the lanturn.
Well, then you tell me why it isn't attacking.
>>28147558
Sure, bro. Tell that to a surprise attack. A school of sharpedos biting off chunks of that Lanturn immediately or a Gyarados coming from below.
This isn't a fucking Pokemon battle. Predators don't announce their presence and challenge your Pokémon to a duel.
>>28148000
Calm down, you aspie. I was making a joke about the unintended implication of your first reply.
It's a fictional kid's game, dude. Chill out.
>Tell that to a surprise attack.
Once again your grammar leaves your argument open for jest, but god forbid I make anymore jokes.
