Starters are all secondary type ice/become secondary type ice. Grass/Ice, Fire/Ice, Water/Ice.
Grass/Ice is a moose covered in moss instead of fur (Moosse?). Starts small, becomes large and grows ice antlers.
Fire/Ice is an ice rabbit on fire. Starts the size of a normal rabbit, grows larger at evolution, then at second evolution he's an humanoid rabbit with a side made of fire, and one made of ice. Frabbizard?
Water/Ice could be a salmon that's very hardcore and swims upstream into glaciers to reproduce. Glalmon?

Mafle, Maple leaf pokemon, are on all roads surrounding the starting town, as common as pidgeys or zubats.
