That's a shame anon. I tend to do something similar and buy up a few of them for some early game catches, but that's mostly because I enjoy having my party in a variety of balls, and it's the only alternative that early on.

it's a normal pokeball.

the best ones are probably dusk ball and timer ball but also quick ball.

dusk ball has a crazy multiplicator and most legendaries are in caves so this shit will work the fuck out.

timer ball gets stronger with every turn that passes and quick ball is catching dumb cunts with your first try and having the best options.

I'm a fan of healball but it's not the best.
it heals your mons and then you can go into battles straight away.

I like Safari Ball because of the design. dank camouflage design and the animation of bringing the pkmn out is all green and shit.

I had a moment in pokemon blue version way back where I actually caught mewtwo with a normal pokeball and it was the last ball I had.
it was a very tense fight with satisfying outcome.
