I'm trying the super singles in ORAS right now, just startedafter getting eliminated in the 40s for letting Chansey die to an Alakazam like a retard

Any tips or recommendations? I want to try the super doubles next, but I'm not very experienced in the format.

I dunno, I'm just more used to Singles and Triples for some reason. I have no problem getting to 30's-40's but as this anon >>28097383 pointed out, the hax becomes a little too much to deal with. Plus, I don't like copying "guaranteed" sets like the one with M-mom and Truant Durant.
Multis are even worse because the AI will suddenly decide to Burn my non-Guts Pokemon for some reason, or keep spamming Earthquake even if they have SE moves on a specific opponent. Most of the times, my ally would KO my pokemon before the opponent.
