Make Abilities more like Moves
>Pokemon can learn more than 1
>some are learned via breeding, others by tutoring, others by level up
>each Pokemon would obviously have a pool of more than the standard 2 or 3 to choose from
It just feels kind of stupidly immersion-breaking, for example, that there are Fire Pokemon that DON'T cause a burn on contact, just because they also get stronger when hit by Fire type moves.
Would that be too broken?
Attract can be used on allies in double/triple
If it's waifu gets hit stats go up
Abilities like pixelate just turn moves into dual type moves

Ghostbros become stronger than ever
They wouldn't have time for this. Every gen has to have moves checked and updated so that the meta isn't wrecked. But then again they approved M-Ray.
If pokémon could gain abilities by breeding, pretty much every single non-legendary fire type could have access to flash fire and flame body. It could lead to type-related abilities:
>All grass types having access to chlorophyll or leaf guard.
>All ghost types having access to cursed body
>All rock types having access to rock head and solid rock
Gourgeist could get flash fire from chandelure via breeding. If genderless pokemon could breed only with other genderless pokemon of the same egg group, Magnezone could get levitate via Bronzong.
If both types resist a type then it's just immune
