I wouldn't mind SOME focus on people who aren't career battlers, as long as they had their own growth story as well. Maybe a Pokemon professor in training or something, out to discover new species or learn something about their chosen specialty.

James is easily one of the better characters in the anime so i think it'd be pretty good if that happened.

I would love to see a pokemon series starring jessie and james going on an adventure instead of joining team rocket and becoming famous for their talking meowth
