Plus they're both Psychic type, so they might be the Totem Pokemon of the Psychic Island Trial

Yeah no. If the Box Legendary doesn't have an important role in the story it would completely ruin the game. It would just be there for nothing. And Team Skull isn't laid back at all. We already know Guzma's motive, we saw that in his introduction trailer. He wants to destroy the Alola region. And what about Zygarde? Ih neither the Legendaried nor Team Skull is important in any way, how will Alola be threatened enough to the point where Zygarde has to step in? Like we've been told he will. Use your god damn brain and be realistic for once. GameFreak is not going to make Solgaleo and Lunala mere Trial bosses.

Nice source. As far as we know, he sabotages trial sites because he was rejected the title of Captain. The box mascots being a part of a trial would connect perfectly with Guzma and his plan to ruin your trial passages. What if he messes up the trial site of the Legendary Pokemon, and it throws the Sun or Moon off balance, or causes some region threatening event

I hope either this isnt just a trial site, because that means either you can't catch the legendary until much later, or they'll make it so the trial is catching lunala, not only forcing another legendary onto you like in the previous games, but making them more insignificant than ever since gen II.
