Learns a unique move, Devour, which is basically a Normal-type Drain Punch.
Also introduces a 60 BP version of Leech Life. Otherwise also learns Giga Drain and Draining Kiss. Also learns several Poison Type attacks, as well as Bite, Claw, and Tail attacks, and a myriad of TMs.
Very high HP, good attack and Speed, Okay Special Attack and Special Defence, poor physical defense.

Comes in Grass/Poison and Grass/Fire varieties depending on cultivation. Rough Skin is its primary ability and Effect Spore is its secondary ability. The Poison cultivar's hidden ability is Flame Body, while the Fire cultivar's hidden ability is Immunity.

It learns a special Grass-type move called Bitter Spray, which has 70 base power and has a 45% chance of inflicting Burn, Poison, or Confusion (15% each.) HP, Attack, and Special Defense are abysmal. Defense is okay, Special Attack is good, Speed is excellent.

In most games their thing is just inevitably getting closer while tanking tons of hits, like a spooky undead. When they get expanded on like in Tactics A2, their whole grudge mechanic and revenge for the dead bit get more exposure and it's all very ghostly.
