Finally finished my Regi hunt this week. Also got shiny Swablu, Snorunt, and Ralts while looking for HA ones, but the latter teleported right in my face.

So, new to actively getting shinie. Yeah, I've gotten a couple by chance, but nothing I've ben actively looking for.
But now, theres a couple Pokemon I'm gonna be breeding for shinies of.

I've got a foreign Pokemon(My 6 IV Ditto isJapanese) for Masuda method, and I have the Shiny Charm, but shit is still taking forever.

Is there any other ways to up the chances?

I got two shiny rants using dexnav in about 12 encounters for the first then 4 encounters later, boom another. While I am a shiny hunter, that's not what I was trying to do, I was looked no for a decent IV one with egg moves. And while I know it was stupid lucky, it sort of sucked that both were female. It's a perfectly good method for reliably strongish Pokemon with little effort.
Remember the charm doesn't affect shiny rates in safaris so you can get better rates with other methods probably.
Safaris are a good middle ground between highest effort strongest 'mon and low effort unpredictable 'mon.
Probably also most relaxing method.

To the people that soft reset starters in any game that isn't HGSS, why? Why would you take that method over breeding with a charm?

I just caught a bunnelby with the chaining method in X. I named it Coconut. All of my shinies have stars around their names. It's the 7th shiny I caught.
