Dynamons and Dynamons 2 is fine but it takes ages to level up past a point (around level 14 onwards I think it was) and 2 is filled with ads that pop up for as little as walking around to grind.

Most of the monsters are weird but a few of them are cool.

The only other one I know is mino monsters.

This. It had a shitload of flaws, but it was pretty fun and the monsters were cool. If only the evolutions weren't retarded.

Also, for mobile fags, Beastie Bay is a pretty fun Pokemon-esque game.

Telefang, but it's more of a combination of Pokemon and Digimon. I love how it does dual battle way before Pokemon did and calling your monster pal with a cell phone was a nice touch.

Playing the demo (or "free" version, however that works for them) for this, it's pretty okay so far. The sprite work has to be my favorite part.

Dragon Quest Monsters. The first one is *insanely* in-depth and has a very steep difficulty uptick once you complete the main story and start doing the post-game extra quests/boss chains.

They did a 3DS remake of it and it pains me every day of my life that they have no intentions of releasing it over here. If someone would go to the trouble of doing an english translation rom hack it would finally motivate me to hack my 3DS just to play this one game.
