Venusaur solo run in Red. Easy as fuck, ended with lvl 91

Why? It's just an easy streamroll. It's so easy even 5 year olds do it.

I did a ton when I was younger.

Electabuzz in Emerald. Walrein in Emerald. Swampert in Emerald. Charizard in Firered. Sandslash in Firered.

It's pretty easy to do. You just need a lot of grinding, but with the emulator's speed up button, you can finish the run in a 5 or 6 hours, just like any normal playthrough.

I was doing a Nuzlocke of a Firered hack and every Mon I had except my starter, Empoleon, kept dying. By the time I was finished there was like 15 levels between my Empoleon and opponent Pokemon and I basically swept through the league even though the hack is considerably harder than the original.

Typhlosion in fire red

You should just do a Solo Run Nuzlocke.

As in, nuzlocke rules apply, but you can only use one mon at a time (HM slaves not included). Once it dies, you can pick one from the box.

It's considerably harder.

Did solo rattata run in leafgreen. It's not really fun, you'll just destroy everything with a massive overleveled pokemon unless you use a shitmon.

Ended up my run at lvl 94, it was waaaay easier than I thought with rattata so blastoise should be even easier

There's not much to tell, you use one mon and overlevel it to plow through everything, every other pokémon is fodder for you to use revives if you ever get KO'd.
That's exactly how I played Blue as a kid and I never had any problems. I suspect any kid's first run was a solo or semi-solo run with only their starter and one/two legendaries doing all the work.

I beat Yellow with Pikachu some years ago, it was fun and hard
Brock take sometime, i need to grind with Rattatas and Pidgey until lvl 16 to deal some shitty damage with Quick Attack
Against Giovanny i spamed Submission (didnt know about how strong was gen1 Dig back then), X attack/defense give me the victory at the end
the league wasnt that hard

Beedrill in Crystal. Shit was intense specially on the steel type battles. Twineedle and Cut were the best moves it could learn. Had to spam X-attacks all the time

How doable is a sunkern run of HGSS?
