I'm not playing as I used to anymore, but I wouldn't say I'm losing interest. I still like the game and can't wait for introduction of new gen mons (fucking NEED my Typhlosion and Murkrow), but I started playing less. This may be due to the fact the town I'm currently in has literally one pokespot and one spawn point that mostly spawns zubats and some horseas some times.

As for IVs, beats me, i don't like them in the main game anyway, I'm not gonna bother with them in a mobile game.

It was a nice social thing, but aside from that, it became pointless and repetitive

Dropped it pretty quickly.
If I'm going to see the same three shitmons 95% of the time no matter where around town I go, I'm going to stop caring pretty quickly.
Even if I got lucky and found a rare Pokemon, what good would that do me? I still need to catch 20 more to evolve it.

Too much grind, no good ways to do it.
