Have a 5 iv rufflet and an italian 6 iv ditto (from wonder trade, probably hacked but w/e).

Does anyone that has the shiny charm know how long it took them? You can get all of the legendaries in oras, right? I asssume you need both games though

You need XY too to get all the Pokemon. Off the top of my head, I know you can't get Xerneas/Yveltal, Zygarde, or the bird trio, and I think you can't get mewtwo.

I did it a while ago, and while I only had X, I had pretty much every game from like FRLG-ORAS, so I'm not sure how long it would take to get from only gen 6. I'm pretty positive it's possible with a bit of trading, however. Overall it probably only took a couple of weeks everything considered.
