Put all the extra points into Atk, if there is anything left shore up its defenses a bit.

New Ability: Fly Trap: All biting moves have +1 priority.

Think on this more, as it is it would still suck because the only bite move it learns of not is Crunch.

I guess you'd have to improve its move pool as well, maybe the elemental fangs, ideally a Grass bite signature move to get STAB... maybe make it supereffective vs Bug like a variant freeze dry.

Poor Carnivine, its so much work to make it even theoretically viable.

Ability: Fly Trap: All biting moves have +1 priority.

+50 to Attack, giving it a very respectable 150
+25 each to Def and SpDef

It also gets a physical Freeze-Dry clone thats Grass type, counts as a bite move and is SE against Bug. Could also be made to be SE vs Flying, either instead of or in addition to Bug.

Thoughts?

Ability: Supreme Offensive.
All punch based moves hit twice for 70% damage, combined with no guard. Only the first punch can inflict status as well as stat changes.

Mega Unfezant. Ghost/Flying with Super Luck, and it gets Brave Bird and Shadow Claw

I know what you'e thinking: why this type combination and ability? I just wanted it to be more unique, while also keeping its old playstyle.

Picture this: both male and female Mega Unfezant have a mask, but it's made of shadows or some shit. It's always moving and pulsating on its own.

If I'm allowed to go go crazy with the stats, I'd say

Thats definitely a risk. I think Carnivine is actually one of the pokemon that Dark type makes sense on though, both because of the deceitful tactics of a fly trap and its heavy biting motif.
