ITT: Shit you do in Pokemon games thanks Gen I
>tfw buy fresh water from machines every time a NPC says they're thirsty

>B2/W2
>They give you a medal for checking 50 empty trashcans
The absolute madmen
Check for free items in pc.

>mfw empty thrashbins
When did you discover that Rock type was NOT immune to Electric attacks? I did in 4th gen IIRC. Fucking overabundance of Rock/Ground Pokemon in gen 1.
>>28023401
Did it as well. I've checked every single trash bin in XY.
>>28023611
I think this happened around in Gen IV for me too...
>>28023611
I did in gen I. I just checked the type chart in the instruction booklet, nobody believed me when I told them, even when I showed them the manual.
>>28023401
Useless you say?Useless, ah it's all useless!
>>28023665
I abused the fuck out of this with Aerodactyl and Omastar as a kid. I figured out that it was the Ground part of Onix and Geodude that made them immune to electricity (and resist Rock), and just let everyone else believe it applied to Rock as well.
I also had a few kids convinced that my Jolteon was special, since it could use electric attacks on Rock types.
Press start.

I actually discovered it by accident when playing Leafgreen my first pokemon game. I tried using an electric type move on a first encounter of Aerodactyl despite not thinking Aerodactyl is part rock type. Later on I obtained my own Aerodactyl, saw it was part rock type and the memory of using thunderbolt against clicked and put two and two together.

>mfw I actually got that medal

On a semi-related note. I have a friend who still confuses electric type for being weak to fighting. He blames it on the TCG

This never made sense to me. They should've put Trubbish encounters in there or occassional shit items to make it worth your time.
