Well with the older pokemon games going on the eshop for nintendo im sure that you'll be able to raise the next generation of kids on those and slowly work them up to the newer generations. I teach in a mid to high poverty area. Most kids in my classes have ONLY played gen 1 and 2 because mom/dad/older sis/Bro handed off their old stuff. You're considered a rich kid if you played XY/ORAS.

Don't worry anons. As a person who works with kids, they actually enjoy retro or older stuff much more than we give them credit for. All kids seem to like mandala and retro games that are brought to the daycare. My cousins loved playing old pokemon games. If you build it they will come.
