Love the Corsola evo, Owten and Eshouten, The big angry cat, Fafninter or whatever it's called, the drama bird and the sandcastle slug.

The mid stage of the coconut crab is better than the final stage, Garlikid is just... No. And early things like Barewl could probably use a redesign. Blubelrog reminds me of something out of Quartz.

Overall it's an okay dex.

The colors bother me, and the sprinting seems a bit off. Maybe it's the lack of shading on a few, but it feels too Fakemon. I like the Pokeball Substitute one though.

All horrible besides the little rock bug. Everything else suffers from severe cases of same face, horrible shading, unfortunate poses/perspective and/or generally shit concepts.

Genuinely awful. Most of them are just random blobs with embellishments on which don't represent any coherent design process. Someone needs to inform the devs that not every Pokémon looks like Dialga.

I checked the Wiki to see if the game was at least good from a technical standpoint, but the stat distributions are unbalanced garbage and there's too many outright shitmon.

Have the devs ever heard of a Single Stage? The Pokémon games have those to help diversify the dex, these guys should try it.

Also I noticed the game added some garbage OC donut steel typing which is randomly strong against and weak against everything which leads to the final boss being one-shot by anything in the game. Nice job.

The only Fakemon game I've seen that was ever able to actually capture the "pokemon aesthetic" was surprisingly enough Pokemon Sage made by you guys originally.

The Pokemon have more of a "hoenn" feel to them, but I feel they're all genuinely 100% fucking fantastic and I could see any of them being used as actual Pokemon.

I have a Uranium game going on. I currently have Electruxo, Tofurang, Firoke, and Gararewl and want to add Paraudio and Jackdreary to my team. The Uranium Fakemons are really nice and cover good type combinations. The plot and towns are pretty good too, I just finished the third gym and my Pokemon are already around level 33.

My problem with Vega has always been that despite the fact there are a pretty good number of high quality fakemons in it, some others look so fucking phoned in it's offensive and drags down the game hard. It's not just in designs either, some of the spites just look like they were made by some random teenager who just learned how to spite, while other have a really professional polish to them, the most egregious example is the tanuki line, where it's first form is really well designed and has an amazing spite, the middle evo looks like dogshit and has zero personality, then it shoots back up to elder god tier in terms of design and spritework in the final stage, it's so jarring on your eyes. You can also see this on the goat line where the first evo looks pretty alright and has a quality sprite, but the evolutions are just terrible and look pathetically flat.

One thing I've noticed is, never let the designs of these fakemon fool you cause there stats and movepools can be quite impressive. Take Astronite for instance. This thing is what Solrock and Lunatone should've been, it has good Speed and SpAtk and has probably onenof the most ridiculously combos ever: Technician Ancient Power, basically giving it a 90 BS STAB Special Rock move. You don't even need to run Shadow Ball on this thing cause it also learns Omnius Wind as well.

Many of the Fakemon are surprisingly viable and well designed in terms of stats, abilities and movepools imo. Uranium suffers from an abundance of Dragon types with nothing to balance them out and atrocious spiriting. A random dude on dA could do better and the "official" art of Fakemon aren't good either. They need better artists asap, I'm sure they could find some volunteers given how popular it has been getting recently.

That's kinda the main thing that attracts me over these fakemon. I'm the type of guy that puts potential and viability first, a good design is just added bonus. And yeah that's kinda the main problem, the artwork really doesn't do justice including most of the sprites. If they were made by a more professional artist, it definitely look a lot bettet. The overworld they nailed it, but the pokemon are still left.

This is probably why I'm having a hard time with the Sage dex, the designs are 11/10 including the artwork. But when you look up the stats, abilities and movepools, you kinda end up a bit dissapointed, at least in my case.

I've played through most of the game now and dislike many of the designs individually. Seeing them all closer together for the first time though... I don't think they're nearly as bad as I first thought. Some are actually good. I think the issue is mostly with the spiriting, and how this would be better off if it were labelled as more of their own thing rather than "fake" Pokemon. They just don't look very Pokemon-esque to me.

Compared to other projects, like pic related, it's shit. I mean some of them look really cool like the rognerolla looking line and the regional bird but most of it is just bad spritework and bad design. It's also great that this is one of the few fan pokemon games that has actually finished but it just did not deliver

The characters look like soem deviant-art fanfic bullshit, and the fact that you can make the girl "identify as a boy" is cancer.

None of these are even remotely orignal. Already, we have Diglett with a Dratini body, a literally dunsparce dragon, a brown Poochyena, the three-stage bird is A Braviary with Hawlucha coloration and Talonflame's fire wings.

Further on we get such original creations like "Lopunny quaraped" "Absol moth" and the "Mythical" is literally a Shaymin and Keldeo.

Really like this guy. Don't know if because it's faceless, or because it kinda reminds me of gastrodon, or because it makes me think of the harry potter games and the herbology lesson slugs, but I relly like it. Would make a cool pet dog.
