I liked Emboar but I actually had to stop playing the game for a few minutes when Tepig evolved in my first play through. A fourth fire/fighting starter will break my dick.

People who adored Dewott's design so much expected an anthromorphic otter design. Instead we got a samurai otter that is structured like his horse. It didn't bother me anyway considering otters irl are quadrupeds that are able to use their hands similar to primates.

I blame Sugimori for not portraying the design properly. It probably would've been better received if he used a sword welding pose so people would see the idea of the design in a first glance. They really fucked up.

Ironically, I had issues with it because it WASN'T dual typed with fighting. It felt like it was going that way then it kinda became disappointing. I still like Samurott but it was still a letdown.
