I've heard that mirage spots in ORAS have about the same odds of encountering a shiny as Friend Safari did in XY. I've had the urge to FS hunt, but I lost my Y cart, so I'm thinking about mirage spot hunting something in AS instead. I've googled but can't get a definitive answer, just speculation.

I don't know but I did find a shiny Audino while grinding in about 400 encounters (dexnav count), and I don't have the charm.
