Overall I really like this gen so far. The only ones I really dislike are the legendarys, they're way too over-designed.

Stufful is a bit closer. But even then they could have at least made it actually red. things don't immediately have to be pink to be cute. Maybe the shinies will look a bit better.

I've never liked Vulpix and Ninetales much to begin with. They feel like really generic 9 tailed foxes that you'd see in any other jrpg with monster enemies. I do like that the alolan forms are changing that up but they're still just not appealing to me in any way and I don't think they really need the boost in popularity/relevance that alolan forms are giving. Other pokes could have used it way more.
Litten I actually like visually but I fucking hate the whole "edgy 2 cool" trope and Litten seems to have that going on which is a big downside for me.

I absolutely hate a couple of the designs but generally speaking this gen is really appealing to me so far. I wish for Morelull to get a decent evo, so I can try and make a worthwhile mono grass type team for my playthrough.

Nah. I liked Pachirisu and other pikaclones just fine but Togedemaru just doesn't work well for me. I can't exactly tell why but it looks like a bad bootleg pikachu plush to me.

I guess I see where you're coming from there. My friend called it a fat emolga upon its reveal. Regardless, I actually quite like the thing. Like most gen 7 mons, the animations give it a lot of personality.

Litten isn't supposed to be "edgy 2 cool" it's just supposed to be calm or at least act it because it would burn up, as you can see the supposed leaked evolution is very passionate and looks like it's torso fur has been completely burned off for the most part and appears to be still burning.
