I know its silly and it wont happen because writers are cunts but im still hoping for the "Team Flare messed with the final" reasoning.
The fight was stupid as fuck. Charizard took a quick attack, a super effective thunderbolt, a cut, an aerial ace which smashed him against the ground, a water shuriken, and the giant shuriken, and he still looked almost undamaged. Also team flare needed a little more megaenergy to finish their plan.
As i said, it isnt going to happen, but the episode just feels so wrong. Its an anticlimax. Why show the giant shuriken if it doesnt do shit? Even the trophy ceremony felt rushed compared to every other ceremony we saw in pokemon leagues.
