How good is Poliwrath?

I must have over 350 Poliwag candies, simply because I have not caught a single one with IVs above 50-60%. That's not even a joke. I've caught so many Magikarps that are 95% perfect, ranging in CP values, but not a single decent Poliwag. Once I got one at 70%, but with a CP of 50, it's fucking worthless.

Is it worth it to get some good Poliwags? I have enough candies to basically 'roll' 3 times for a decent one, but it's fucking killing me.

If anyone else lives in Toronto, any good places to get Poliwags? Or just bank on an egg? I'm catching thousands of these retards by the piers literally right by Union Station. You've probably seen those thousands of constantly lured pokestops. Right there. But there nothig but garbage. Also for any Torontofag who doesn't know, there's two relabel dratini nests down there as well. If you use an online map and check every so often and have a bike or car you can easily catch 7 or so if you spend a few hours there. Won't be a waste because of all the pokestops and lures too.

Nice. I live near a few lakes and rivers myself. Lots of Staryu, Slowpoke, and Polywag. But never enough Magikarps come my way.

Around my job I've found Raichu, Magnamite, and a lots of Eevee. I've evolved counts Eevee because of this, so that's nice at least.

I'm level 20, atm and my current goal is to try and Evolve my Nidorino and my Haunter. I'm really close, so wish me luck.

I literally don't doubt that at all. I posted above, but I live right by a massive lake and a bunch of piers. There's at least 20 pokestops all in walking distance, and half of them are lured. There are so fucking many Magikarp it really isn't funny. If you wanted to, hunting only magikarps, I honestly wouldn't doubt somebody being able to catch enough to get a Gyarados in maybe 3 hours, 4-5 if they're not dedicated enough. I have enough for one and it took me 3 days of casual playing down there.

If you check Skiplagged, or other maps, you'd be fucking astounded at how many water Pokemon spawn at piers and lakes. It really is disgusting. And on Skiplagged, a fair amount of Pokemon don't even show up until some user has encountered it, so if the map shows like 10 Magikarp it's more than likely there's more than 5, 6+ that aren't showing up that are probably right there in the same area.

Beggars can be choosers, but I wish I lived in an area that had half as many fire and rock/ground types. Ponyta,
Growlithe, Ryhorn, all rare as hell here, although Ryhorn spawns occasionally and you may see one of the others on a good day

Honestly, by the time you're a higher level and finding better and better shit, you'll be evolving way higher CP shit and way better IV Pokemon, so it doesn't make sense to evolve a Pokemon with shitty IVs when you're at the level most people are currently. At least catch a couple more and try to find something better.

I've never looked into Skiplagged, or too in depth for any poke maps or spawn locations really, maybe I should now.

I find Growlithe and Ryhorns around me fairly enough, and at night some Gastly and Haunter. Oh, and an ungodly amount of Bellsprout and Oddish.

I've got a few 10k eggs going now still hoping on getting a Dratini or Lapras. I was really excited getting a Snorlax finally, so there's hope. Just gotta keep on going I guess.

Worst I ever did was block someone's driveway for a few seconds trying to take a gym while staying in the shade, even though there was a no loitering sign posted there.

I got a 100% iv eevee and even though I wanted a vaporeon I got a flareon...which was my 3rd one in a row. Its not that he's bad, but I have plenty of fire types on my team already (growlithe and ponyta almost as common as pidgey) and I live in the desert where there are fire and rock and ground types all over the place so I REALLY need a water type.

I bike frequently to hatch eggs and the day they changed the speed limit I hatched 2 5km eggs back to back and even got extra mileage on another one after that. It never registered the mileage that well before.
