Thoughts on them?

They're fun, and semi-cute. I'm glad they're not competitive though, they work as a gimmick.
Individually, they're pretty good designs. I just hate how shoehorned they were in the gen V games. Those fuckers were everywhere. Felt like every route had at least one traner with them. And the game practically forced you to use one for the first gym. I can see why some people would hate them.

Also i have one on my team.

Fire had best prevo
Grass had best evo
All pretty usable in their tiers.
Blue monkey pussy.
They aight.
Sage line is great.
Sear line is middling.
Pour line is shit.
Personally.. It seems lazy. Like a pallet swap in street fighter. It's like they made one.. And needed 2 more types in the dex so they just.. Color swapped them.
Oversimplification, but it is what it is.

They all sucked. I like how they gave you an option for something early on that's fire, water or grass to help with what starter you chose but that's it.
panpour is legit.
Semisage has a neat design.
Semiserious looks dumb. Thanks for the memes.
I'm probably going to fap to Semipour one lonely night.

Sage is great. Others are garbage.
An utter waste of dex space. Their only purpose is to give an easy type advantage over the first gym, rather than actually putting better pokemon in the early routes you could use. I'm pretty sure most people just boxed their asses after they beat the first gym.
