Difficulty is the amount of punishment you take for making a wrong decision, or barely paying any attention to the game, or having bad reflexes. In a game like pokemon were you don't have to have reflexes, you need to make it harder by giving strategies that are hard to see coming or hard to counter.

people complain about this but its nothing compared to what happens in mmos... Take XIV for example. Spent weeks/months on relics, materia etc, more than breeding ever fucking took. have to be level 100 to use it and even then it takes a separate currency. If you already have perfect IV mons in the bank you can breed perfect Pokemon faster than Hyper Training. It's a feature that's more annoying than IV breeding for people too lazy or dumb to IV breed.

Hyper training is limited and you need bottle caps, and given that the only confirmed way to get one is through even giveaways, it's probably gonna be very limited
