Does anyone actually like the fact that pokemon say their own names?

I do. It helps you remember which one is which while you're watching the anime.

Only Pikachu because I've gotten so used to it at this point and its voice is cute.

It's an inconsistent way of thinking, but I don't like that the others say their name.

No. It's stupid. Origins did this right by making them have animal noises.

Nope, in fact it's why I hated the franchise as a kid. When I later learned that Pokemon actually have cool cries I got into the games.
