Can confirm, I recently bought into the sun/moon hype but have been emulating pokemon titles for the last decade. Decided I wanted to be in on this one from release, so I went to buy a 3ds and figured, what the hell, mught as well play ORAS since citra doesnt work yet and I've never played them

Gamestop in the middle of Soho in Manhattan was sold out of new DSses, and also only had a handful of copies of AS on hand. Had to by a 2DS. Asked her what was up and she said Pokemon GO was driving sales up like crazy and people had been buying pokemon titles liek candy for the last month.

ORAS are the newest games. ORAS was a piss poor remake unlike HG/SS since HG/SS included almost all of the relevant Crystal enhancements to G/S while ORAS completely dumped the battle frontier.
