Currently replaying Platinum with balltism. Infernape in Pokéball, Crobat in Heal Ball, Roserade in Nest Ball, Medicham in Great Ball, Gastrodon in Quick Ball and Mamoswine in Premier Ball.

Got lucky and encountered a shiny Meditite east of Eterna City. Only blue ball I had was a single Great Ball I was gifted from an NPC, I think. It's Serious and has seriously shit IVs unfortunately, but hey, I won't complain. Never used a shiny ingame before; feels pretty good.

Tentacruel is pretty boss, but low powered. Sharpeedo has an okay Special attack to accommodate its STAB. If you have the patience, Milotic is amazing, and if you can trade Gorebyss is great.
