So proud of the managers and testers and all the work you guys put in. We're in the /elite/ now, and we have made some history and we'll get another opportunity in Winter. Thank you so much Reso, Techy, Remmy & Worsty. I'm so glad you guys let me help out and be a part of this. We're going to do better in Winter, I know it.

We got far, we did well. We got a bit out PES'd this match with Miror B choking (which he usually doesn't) and their GK saving all those shots, but they also missed beautiful chances so it really goes both ways.

Next Winter will be /vp/'s year, I think we gained a lot of experience from this cup by reaching the elites, it's time to reach the Championship next time around. 6 months of break will be used to git even better; I truly believe in this team more than ever.

Also fug off Ash.

It was that fucking goalkeeper. Saved our last good opportunity when Miror B. had a really good chance. Don't blame the strikers honestly. they were all aces, especially when we really needed it to advance.

Anyway I really have been sitting on this for a while, and it was either we made it to the finals or something to keep up with Ash's chokemagic or this. I really should have started planning out what I was going to type.

I'm retiring from /vp/ management.

I kind of never imagined I was going to be the /vp/ manager to take it all the way or break the curse -- or, well, one of them -- I always kind of thought I'd be interim and try to keep up the yo-yo until the miracle happened. But I think I've done my best for the team until then -- I ran polls, I used the /vg/ League to practice in the offseason, I aggressively recruited managers all the way to here. And, well, I really think lads like Reso have gotten better since when I first took up the mantle while I plateued.

I managed against /d/ this cup, and I have to say that was when I remembered I loved this cup so much. I fucking choked back tears when Fug hit that last goal against /out/'s goalpost, but the thing was that that was really more of Reso and the others's effort when in my own tests against /out/ I could only score 5 goals in ten games. And that's why I believe it's time to move on. Maybe I'll come back. Maybe I'll help /vp/ as a manager again soon, or help /vg/ because I'm a faggot who likes generals? I dunno. I can still run polls and shitpost in /vp/ gamethreads and I'll always be there to cheer them on when >we finally make it farther than this.

But for now, cheers, lads. It's been a great honor to be part of a /vp/ team that pulled off this miracle, and my great joy to have been part of this cup. Until next time, viva la /vp/.

Welp thats it guys, I'm sorry that we are still fucking shit when it comes to knockouts.

Possession Game teams are always a pain to test and play against. They may not have too many chances but the moment they get in front it's very hard to get back. Miror B choking didnt help us at all.

I'm happy that you guys tuned in, I'm happy that we could finally end the yo-yo and be one of the best sixteen teams in the cup. But what I'm not happy about is the fact that our run in the knockouts ended this soon. In six months we will come back stronger than ever, I promise.

Technetium, thank you so much for showing me the world of PES and teaching me how to manage, to never panic, to git gud. The 6-2 was for you senpai. I won't forget that you made the team into the team it is today.

I'm also very thankful for everyone who joined our discord server, memed around with us and wrote kindhearted words. It has been a very fun time. The link to the server is on our wiki page so feel free to join as well.

Thank you for everything Tech. I hope to continue the legacy of /vp/ alongside Reso and Worst that you and McBob started to set in motion what feels like so long ago.
