Gyarados, Spearow and Pinsir families spotted on the Sun/Moon japanese website
what does this mean?
>>27942403
maybe Alola Forms?
here is the link: http://www.pokemon.co.jp/ex/sun_moon/pokemon/160820_06.html

This.
I don't know why they are doing this.
If the pokedex was like Platinum,i can understand.
But in a regional pokedex with 400 pokemon, why bother?
>>27942378
it has nothing to do with Alola forms
these old mons were added in a section of the website that shows mons that can be found in Alola in their original forms, meaning no Alolan forms for them
>>27942455
Then why only Kanto Pokémon?
>>27942495
Starting with kanto first.
>>27942403
Nothing. Just adding Pokèmons that has been shown so far. Chill
>>27942455
Shouldn't Magikarp be on the list too?
Retconned into dark type?
>>27942455
they aren't only showing mons that can be found in Alola
Actually when you can read moon runes, you can see they are starting to present a living dex
If you go on gyarados, spearow, pinsir, or dragonite page, you have access to Sun pokedex entries of these pokemons and same with Moon
( they are different from other gens but don't add anything new )
>>27942455
But there have been a large amount of old mons shown in the trailers that haven't been added to the site.
The least they could've done is update these pokemons art- which I feel like Sugimori should do since Ohmori is in charge of most art now.

like i said
Showing these former pokemons is still making news for the japanese site because they present the new pokedex entries
It doesn't seem much for us who cant understand japanese, and it makes us think there is more to this
but it's really just for the pokedex entries that they are showing step by step
>>27942378
Is Japan just messing with us or
It just means they'll be found in the Alola region. Doesn't confirm or deconfirm Alola forms.

"hey genwunners, they're in the game too!"
