Do you believe humans eat Pokemon now?
Nigga it's been canon since Farfetch'd
Slowpoke tail
Of course they eat Pokemon why wouldn't they?
>now
>>27925749
Sure.
people eat magikarp
>>27925771
Because they're our friends :(
farfetch'd
slowpoke
just to name the first ones I can think of offhand
if anything crabrawler isn't even that good of an example since the claws fall off and then they eat them
>>27925749
Ow....
>>27925798
So are dogs but that doesn't stop the Chinese unfortunately
>>27925749
Pokemon are basically the natural flora/fauna of their world, so of course. It'd be weird if they didn't in some way, shape, or form.
>>27925826
The Chinese are barely human anymore themselves, so there's that.
Well, where do you think Cinnabar Volcano Burgers come from?
>>27925749
Basculin's Pokedex entry says it's tasty as well. You're a couple years late to the party.
>>27925791
According to the anime, Magikarp is just scales and bone, and makes an extremely shitty meal. Even in death, Magikarp is useless.
>>27925877
I'd assume clone meat.
We've almost got that irl and pokemon seems like a socialist utopia with science magic
Basculin's dex entry says they taste delicious
Seadra's dex says its bones are used in medicine
>>27925877
> tfw no Miltank to drink milk every morning
>>27925892
B-but they made magikarp sushi.
>>27925956
They imagined sushi based on Magikarp, they didn't actually make it.
Pokemon are much more intelligent and self aware than our animals. It'd probably be considered taboo to eat most of them
>>27925965
I'd love to see someone try to make Torterra soup
>>27925995
Maybe they just eat natural cause deaths?
Would you /vp/?
>>27926092
>$10k
>"Cheap"
but do pokemon eat humans?
>>27925855
This is chinophobic
>>27925749
I love the direction Alola's Pokémon and their "lore" is going in.
>>27925908
>Socialist
>Science
Pick one
>>27926249
Yes. Some of the ghosts do it.
>>27926249
A lot of ghost pokemon do
>>27926155
You eat slowpoke tails in the restaurants in kalos for a lot less.
>>27925749
Pokémon eat other Pokémon. Pokémon also eat humans.
We are only returning the favor.
>>27925930
>>27926035
>it's illegal to drink milk straight from a cow in the US
Whenever I look at Pokemon I always imagine they're just made of rubber, or playdough. No bones, no digestive organs, just solid clay or something.
>>27926316
>>27926326
Is it possible to kill a ghost Pokemon?
Would any of them leave something edible behind?
>>27925956
It was a dream. When they actually tried to eat it, the result turned out differently.
>>27926448
That's prob because of cow diseases... but Miltank milk is sweet and energizing.
>>27926534
It's not illegal to drink from a puddle, tho. It's just a messed up law.
>>27926450
So every pokemon is claydoll?
>>27926316
This one eats other Pokemon though.
>>27926464
I mean, if Trevenant possessed a berry tree, I bet if you somehow get the ghost out of there you could eat some spectral fruit or something.
>>27926591
No, not actual clay. More rubbery, like a tyre.
>>27926464
Bite is a dark type move that affects them. Biting a ghost and chewing whatever you tore off is very possible.
>>27926705
Better question: Would any ghost actually leave something tasty and/or healthy behind? I'd figure a lot would probably poison or otherwise sicken those that eat it.
>>27926448
It's illegal to have an ice cream sandwich in your back pocket because you can use it to get horses to follow you off someone's property and onto your own, and anything on your property is arguably yours so you'd have 'stolen' a horse by leading it away
Laws are some shit
>>27926741
Ah, but not all ghost pokemon are poison type. I would assume pumpkaboos very probably taste exactly like pumpkins.
>>27926266
Live there if if you think its so great
>>27925892
Idk. Ash seems to be enjoying himself.
>>27927870
That's not a magikarp you dip that's one of those cookie things the nips like.
>>27925749
Slow poke tail
>>27927880
>taiyaki
>fish shaped pancake
>cookie
>>27927880
It's a pokemon corpse.
>>27927880
actually, it's Taiyaki. a cake filled with bean paste meant to resemble a fish
>>27927958
They're cookies dude.
Cookies with shit in them but they're cookies
>>27925749
>>27925765
>>27927913
Fallen pincers and disposable tails
None of these require killing a pokemon
>>27925835
Animals exist in both the games and the anime
They're probably the main meat source
>>27927334
That's such a specific rule. I wonder how many times it had to happen before they made it.
>>27927978
>>27927958
>>27927880
Denialfags BTFO
>>27928023
In america? Once. It's like how lawn darts are banned because a guy stabbed another guy with one. But, javelins, crossbows, bows and other kinds of darts are fine to buy and own. They will make a very specific law around a very specific event and not give a fuck about intent or function.
The guy could legally put something else horses like in their back pocket and do the same.
>>27925930
It's a delicious treat!
>>27925930
Want some?
>>27927987
It's not a cookie, it's made using waffle/pancake batter. Cookies have solid dough with less wet ingredients like biscuits. Read the description before you try to correct someone, please? Or are you gonna tell me a donut is a cookie now too?
>>27925749
It's been confirm for years.
>>27925892
>According to the anime
Different universe, different rules
>>27928453
True, but given that every Pokedex entry shits all over Magikarp, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bad meal in game as well.
Like, Magikarp is SO fucking terrible that it can't fight, it's not worth eating, it barely gives out experience, has a slower than average leveling rate. It's just not worth using it for anything at all.
The only thing it does right is reproduce so rapidly that it manages to populate every water source on the planet without being anywhere near tough enough to physically fight for resources. It's a pest, fishy vermin.
You want a cockroach Pokemon? We've had one all along: Magikarp.
>>27928329
unf
>>27927334
Pretty sure there's a state where taxi cabs must have a bail of hay in their trunk, due to an ancient law from back when horse and buggy based taxis existed
Also it's illegal to "molest an alligator" in florida
granted thats a form of bestiality, but its still oddly specific and silly
>>27931087
Is it MOLEST molest or more like the spanish "molestarse" where it is a more general "bother" sense? Because I can understand why they'd need to make a law to prevent idiots from bothering gators and getting themselves killed
>>27931198
The law says "molest" so I'm assuming it's the English sexual assault molest, although Florida does have a large Cuban population which might inspire less common uses of the term.
But even then I'd assume they'd use "agitate" or "harass," since the latter is much more common for annoy/bother related laws.
I always think that if i lived in the Pokemon world, i would be vegetarian or some shit
I don't know, it would feels bad eating something as intelligent as you that perhaps could even have been your best friend
>>27925798
Horses are our friends and yet we have no problem eating them.
>>27925892
>comparing two different canons.
Pokemon are eaten by humans and humans are eaten by pokemon. It's the ecosystem in there world.
>>27932888
dont be a pussy. personally id love to try a goldeen
>>27928329
Aren't those boring reed and blue fish from Gen V specifically said to be eaten by humans in the pokedex entries?
>>27925798
you and I will protect the pokemons, anon!
>>27928019
>Animals exist in both the games and the anime
>They're probably the main meat source
They seem far too rare in the games to make a viable source of food.
>>27934632
Possibly.
For what it's worth, I remember a booklet delivered by the official pokemon company that stated rules and regulations about mentioning food and the food sources. They mentioned that all food sources in game do not come from living creatures. This was a few years back though.
>>27934708
Nah. People eat Pokémon and animals
>>27934708
People need to stop referencing that.
It's just a vague guideline TPC gives to third parties to say "Hey don't do most of these probably"
>>27928416
What are brownies and blondies then!?
>>27925798
Be quiet N
>>27928416
It looked like a cookie to me.
If it's actually made with pancake batter sure
>>27931198
>>27931322
You both are idiots. Molest has the "bother" meaning in English too.
>>27934754
That's so fucked up.
>>27934797
True.
I heard magikarp is pretty delicious famalam
Be honest. Would you try berry juice that has been fermented in a Shuckle's shell?
>>27934932
maybe...
