The dangerous ones would probably fuck shit bad at first, but ultimately be contained or exterminated. Less dangerous or beneficial ones might be maintained, such as pets, energy sources or nutrition from e.g. Miltank milk.

That said, the worst ones wouldn't be the powerful semi-Legendaries and such, but the tenacious pest 'Mons you find everywhere. I wouldn't want to deal with the possibility of Raticate climbing out of my toilet.

I'd like to see a live action pokemon movie set in our world, everything is the same except pokemon also exist.

I'm realizing this is basically pacific rim except with pokemon, but make it happen

I figure it would be similar to enlightenment times when organized duelling was widespread. They had very specific rules and limits, such as it being illegal to carry more than 6 Pokémon on your person. Every free man in those days carried a sword or a pistol depending on the time and place, and was always ready to use their weapon in self-defence, to solve disputes or any other use that might come up, cutting down plants for example. In the Pokémon world it would be the same, most or all people would carry Pokemon for their own safety and education in their proper handling would surely be a part of every child's core curriculum.
