I know the feel. Eevee's are very uncommon in my area. Getting enough for just 1 evolution is kind of a big task. I actually found a 97.8% and just evolved it but I didn't get the move I wanted.

What exactly is the deal with Eevee nicknames? Does the trick even work anymore? I had a 97% IV Eevee, named it Rainer, double checked after I logged out and it evolved into a fucking Jolteon. Nice game, Niantic.

With how hard it is to level 20-30, and even harder 30-40 with a cap at 40, this limits the game from the getgo.
Obviously shit catchrates/fleeing, how rare the pokemon you don't find in your area are, no trading, no pvp, most evolutions are programmed to be several hundred CP lower than vaporeons, arcanines, etc, your starter having no fucking impact in the game whatsoever, taking weeks if you're lucky to even evolve it.
Just enjoy it while it lasts, once the legendaries come out it'll be fun for a day or two, and once Gen 2 is out it'll be fun for another month.

Enjoy not being able to find enough candies for any evolutions due to the shit candy system and having to cross your fingers you get either espeon or umbreon from your eevee and get slowking instead of slowbro from your slowpokes ect.

Unless they change it so the candies are just type candies instead of species specific the most pokemon you add the more dilluted and frustrating the game becomes.

Why are Jynx so fucking common? I'm starting to simply ignore them because they suck, are annoying to catch (though getting great curve on them is super easy, it's just they come out of normal Pokeballs) and their candies are worthless.

I have so many of these crap. Are they actually any good or are ppl just meming like they do with hypno?

The only thing hypno is good at (same with drowzee) is vacuuming pokeballs and making room in bag. Wasted 30 pokeballs on one the other night. I refuse to waste candies or great balls on it, jynx gets mad when I do that to it as well.

When I'm by the water I do the same thing, voltorbs, magnemites, psyducks, krabbys, horseas, goldeens and staryu only get pokeballs if they're under 500CP, if they're 600 or under I may throw them a berry or if I'm in a rush catch them with a great ball.

Took me three days to finally get one but I finally have a Charizard!

I was the guy that found a nest the other day. My legs are fucking chapped from all this walking. Almost 15 miles in total but it was worth it. Lot of eggs hatched and I have my favorite Pokemon.

I would have gotten to 125 candies, and then gone and mass evolved some pidgies, and then farmed more charmanders until you got one at close to the max level you're at right now.

As a matter of fact, you're better saving up for a second charizard then you are powering that one up, even if it has high IV's.

I put a Lapras in a gym yesterday morning. I just levelled up today and I want to power it up. I thought the gym would be brought down since it's next to a bus stop and it's always under attack but now it's an untouched level 7 gym.

It gives you a range usually not much different than many calculators. As far as I know Silphroad is also a range but it doesn't really tell you that.

It's like using a floating video player, that puts a window over your screen.

The game seems to run on some kind of binome system. Mountainous regions have lots of ground-types, hot regions have lots of fire types, ect. Since there aren't many ice types in gen 1, Drowzee and Jynx ended up being the only two "cold region" Pokemon as far as I can tell. Most normal or suburban biomes have Grass and Water types as the commons/uncommons and the Fire types as the rares. For me it's Water = common, Grass = uncommon (very slightly less common than Water), Fire = rare. Electric is either rare or exclusive to a certain part of town.

It's weird to think but I guess in places like Nevada they sigh when they see a Growlithe or Geodude and get hype when they see a Bellsprout or Goldeen.

Got two accounts. I found out my mom lived near a charmander nest and had her use my login info so she could catch me some.
Eventually niantic issues bans and my charmander account gets the failed to receive data error. I figure it got banned. I couldn't log into my other account tho.
I finally just deleted my account info from my phone and it let me log back in. I get that humbled server issue with my banned account though.
It's been 2 days and I never got an email saying I was banned. Now I'm really confused if I was banned or why I can't log in anymore

I think Jynx and especially Drowzee are regarded as city Pokemon. With Drowzee it's basically confirmed, everyone I know seems to share this idea and closer you get to the center, the more Drowzee you encounter.
