Yeah, it's bound to get arena trap as a HA, and maybe GF thought that was too powerful of an ability to get in game.

It will have its gimmicks though,as someone stated above, you can use it in doubles with a water shuriken accelgor which is a 66% chance that it will maximize its defense stat, so as long as it is naturally bulky for Sp defense (or has a sp defense boosting move) it can be a mighty wall

It depends on the stats and movepool, but I kind of doubt it. Unfortunately ghosts usually have poor physical attacks, and ground usually have poor special attacks. It will either get used for shadow ball or earthquake, but probably not both

Ghost types are garbage walls, every time they try it they fail. Shit hp, weak to a bunch of common shit, slow as fuck, bad STAB, have to rely on pain split, and a whole myriad of other issues. This one doesn't even have a decent ability to fall back to.
