I feel like they'll be revealed next CoroCoro, they mentioned they're going to reveal Rockruff's evolution, and it's been implied that Rockruff and the starters are connected by some secret.

Assuming these are the legit evos, I hope that the middle evos look nothing like them. The denial and hope would reach critical mass, and then it would collapse in on itself when the games come out.
