Darkrai is literally the best. Dark Void is an amazing signature move, his design is top tier along with the title "The Pitch Black Pokemon", his movie was one of the few that are actually good and best of all, he hasn't been spammed as much as say, Mewtwo, so he's still relatively fresh in my mind desu. In fact, I was ecstatic to see that he made Pokken which I am buying now thanks to him.

The only kind of shitty thing was that he got typecasted a lot as "teh evul pokemon" thanks to Mystery Dungeon but even then he was a great villain. Besides that he's been a solid good ass Pokemon and I'm glad he'll also be remembered for cucking Ass out of victory as he should be.

Its pointless to try and debate the logic of the games with the logic of the anime because both follow different sets of rules. In the anime, type matchups matter less because trainers use the environment around them in conjunction with their moves. The games follow a strict set of logic where if you use earthquake or some other move, its usually going to hit. In the anime, trainers can literally just shout "dodge" and their pokemon will jump over the earthquake or find cover of some sort. In the games, the outcome of the match is determined by the skill of the players rather than the clash of plot armors and whatever cliche the writers need to fulfill for that episode.
