My highest Gen 6 recommendations would be Hawlucha and Noivern, absolutely pick one of those two for your Flyer.

Not OP but I'm also restarting Y

I want a gen 6 only team, no previous gen mons, I just finished Gen V with a killer Gen V team, so.

I also don't like using mons I used before, so Delphox, Aegislash, Amaura, Flogres, Dragalge, and Sligoo

I'm thinking Malamar, Clauncher, Noivern, and three others this time, what would be good?

Mega-Venusaur is better than Simisage by a long shot. Talonflame is at least equivalent if not better than Charizard. Also Diggersby is horrendous looking but I can't really fault you for using it. Personally I'd probably go with Mamoswine, Gliscor, Gastrodon or Excadrill instead. Aromatisse is fine but I'd probably go with Florges, Sylveon, Gardevoir or Mawile for a fairy type.

If you add Pangoro to those 3 you already listed just be aware that you're going to have 3 mons that will get sweeped by fairy type attacks. Also if you're going to box your starter and you're set on those 5 you mentioned then consider Sylveon or Aromatisse to mitigate those defensive weaknesses. If you don't care about that though then maybe Barbaracle or Gogoat or even Gourgeist/Trevenant.

i actually took Aurorus on my team this Y playthrough and it was able to take down 3 of the elite 4 by itself and about half the gyms

I was considering suggesting Avalugg or Aurorus but the new ice types in XY seem to be terrible. I haven't used them myself though so I couldn't say for sure.

But yeah, probably Avalugg or Pyroar then. I can't think of another fire type except for Talonflame.

Not OP but I'm also looking for suggestions. I've boiled it down to 4 that I for sure want on my team but can't decide between the last two spots.

For the last two I can't decide. I narrowed it down to Heliolisk, Scolipede, Gengar and Chandelure. Leaning towards Scolipede for one of them.
