From the german SuMo website:

Since Tortunator lives on volcanoes and feeds on sulfur and other substances that can be found near volcanic craters, its shell is covered by a layer of explosive substances - mainly sulfur. If Tortunator hit by something hitting the spikes on his tank sparks and an explosion is triggered.

If it is near volcanic craters, the Pokémon disguised as stone and lie in wait its prey. Once this occurs on the back of the coat, Tortunator strikes with its tail on his tank, triggering an explosion.

The explosions emanating from Tortunators back, step out of a hole that is located in the middle of its front body. This is also his weakness. Attacks that hit it there, sent to a great deal of damage to him.
