But parasect's biggest problem IS the typing. It's the second worst type combo after rock/ice, it has 2 4x weaknesses, fire and flying, both very powerfull offensive types held by some top tier pokemon, and it's also weak to poison, ice, rock and bug. What does this typing help with? useless 4x resistances to ground and grass.

With a better typing he could function much more efficiently as a statuser. Maybe get him into RU if its good enough. But no matter what you do, with that typing its not getting out of PU
