Ashnime fans are the worst, this is worse than the GOflood and leak events combined, fuck them.

Mods when?
Porygon is the only thing that can help us in these dire times
More porygon!
Porygon is the best
I wish they'd make an official third stage evo, something even more tanky than Porygon2 or something.
>>27872080
Good names for it friendos
>>27873727
System32
Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10
Ubuntu/Red Hat/Gentoo/Linux
Mac
>>27873727
I named mine uTorrent.exe
>>27873917
Porygon would be Debian
Porygon2 would be OpenBSD
PorygonZ would be Gentoo
>>27873727
Personally I just prefer "Zed" for Z, but I'm not a britbong.
Is he a duck?
>>27874673
A cyberneticduck, yes.
>>27873917
>>27874145
Porygon-Z would definitely be TempleOS. Look it up.
>>27873727
Mine's named Y2K

Fav PokeLine
Do the Porys have a consciousness or are they just AI?
The only Pokémon line that is too good for the anime
You made this thread on purpose didn't you OP?
>>27872080
If it hadn't been for Porygon the anime wouldn't have been stalled for so long that they US hype kicked in and they decided to make the anime eternal. It would have ended, we could have gotten something new for each game, and we won't be stuck in this unending circlejerk that we are.
Fuck Porygon.
>>27872080
This guy knows what's up!
So, Porygon-Z is viable for SpAtk late game sweeping and Porygon2 is an eviolite wall.
Is there anything the base Porygon can be used for? It's my second favorite but it just seems mediocre.
>>27874766
I just looked that up, holy fuck. I have no words.
But nah, if anything he'd be a cracked distro of Windows that allowed you to poke in all the places you shouldn't.
>>27874911
I like to think they start out as your typical helpful AI, then when they evolve they become self-aware, displaying knowledge that they exist, questioning things, then when they evolve again they start displaying emotions, becoming truly sentient.
>>27875096
You caught me!
>>27873727
I named mine Energer.
I hope someone gets that reference.
Alright buds, OP here, that all I got on my phone.
Still, nice porygon thread, I'm liking how it's shaping up. Beats out the anime spam by a country mile.
>>27875510
Such a shame Porygon-Z has subpar speed. STAB Hyper Beam with Life Orb is devastating.
>>27875602
>Hyper beam
Gtfo
>>27875671
Is there a problem
Tri-Attack then if it makes you feel better
>>27875602
>so rare
>have fun
Such doge
>>27875671
>Not having Hyper Beam as a last resort nuke
>>27875602
Still holding out for Mega Porygon-Z in S&M with either higher speed or more bulk.
>>27873727
My Porygon2 is named BlueRay, and my Porygon-Z is named BlueScreen.
>>27875795
I don't think they'll make a mega of Z since it's a "corrupted" evo and wasn't supposed to exist (lorewise) in the first place.
If anything they'll make an official evolution for pory2.
>>27875671
Do you hate fun? Or do you just not know how amazing it is to pull of a 300 BP move with almost perfect coverage and kill almost anything
>>27875926
I run a poryZ with dark pulse (I think), triattack, nasty plot and ice beam
Should I replace one of those with hyper beam?
>>27876526
...no. Hyper beam works as a surprise to defeat a horrid threat in a revenge killing porygon-z. It will more often than not end with porygon dying. The sole point is hit fast and hit hard, like having a scarfed pory. A set-up sweeper pory-z doesn't do well, your set works better for it.
Its still fun though, it is such a surprise I can often get ragequits even when losing.
>>27875240
I once used a team of Porygon, Porygon2 and Porygon-Z online
I used my Porygon as a Choice Scarf trick user, it was very effective and I managed to snag a few victories under my belt
>>27876611
>Choice Scarf trick user
Could you tell me about the details of your set? I'd love to run a Pory-only team.
>>27875240
Porygon is very good in LC. He has solid bulk and works wonders walling and supporting. Not that good otherwise, it just becomes an inferior porygon2
>>27876661
I really just play on the battle spot, I don't use showdown. Does it have a niche at all?
>>27876726
It has the oportunity of running gimmick sets like almost any pokemon: choice item tricker to stop a set-up sweeper in their tracks; a sacrifical pokemon, maybe with rocky helmet to cause some harm to physical attackers; and it has SOME bulk, so I guess you can use it like porygon2 with eviolite, just watch out since it would be weaker and easier to KO.
Don't give up anyways, be a Karenfag and just roll with it, you'll be surprised how many "useless shitmons" can sometimes hold their own against OU gods.
>>27876636
It isn't a perfect team composition, but you can feel free to mess around with it if you wish
Porygon - Choice Scarf
Analytic
Modest
Tri Attack
Trick
Foul Play
Thunder Wave/Coverage, I wasn't sure which to use so I went with Ice Beam
Porygon2 - Eviolite
Modest
Trace
Toxic
Recover
Tri Attack
Coverage. Sometimes I run Psych-Up to copy anyboby that tries to boost on Porygon2
Porygon-Z - Focus Sash (Still working on the item choice)
Adaptability
Timid
Tri Attack
Nasty Plot
Dark Pulse
Thunderbolt/Ice Beam
>>27876807
Yeah, I'll do that. I'm already surprised at how good Pory2 can be, even against monsters like Arceus and Garchomp it can still decimate a team with Toxic, Recover and the occasional STAB Tri-Attack.
>>27876833
Thanks a bunch. What was the EV spread like on your Porygon?
>Still working on the item choice
Isn't Life Orb the most common item for Pory-Z? Although I understand why you'd use Focus Sash since I often have trouble setting up and find myself unable to use Nasty Plot
>>27876833
Focus sash is a good idea for very offensive teams, but you can also consider life orb for more damage in case you're trying to wall break. Porygon-z has mediocre defenses, but its not like it will always come down to those
>>27876833
The problem with that team is that it has no way of dealing with Steel types efficiently and would run into problems if faced with mons like mega Lucario
>>27875873
Well an easy way to fix that lore wise was that either the creator of the dubious disk put out a patch (if they want to be original with porygon and give it a special item to mega evolve) OR say the unintended changes made it more reactive to the mega stone. EZPZ.
>>27876912
Defense, Special Defense and HP. Need to maximise the chance of Porygon surviving to pull off a trick or a potentially game-winning move.
And personally I prefer Focus Sash on Z anyway, but it's up to personal preference
>>27876931
Yeah, I wasn't sure which one to use, but I ultimately decided on Focus Sash since Z is the only real source of damage I have, so I want to keep him on the field for longer, even if it means two hits instead of one.
>>27876935
Yeah, I realised I put no steel coverage when I first went online, I'm still experimenting with moves and trying to find a set that works the best.
>>27877076
>I put no steel coverage
I don't think there's any, anyway. The Porys don't learn any good fire type or fighting type move, do they?
>>27877100
HP Fire, Fighting etc.
Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball for neutral damage if you're willing to settle for that, really.
>>27877142
HP isn't very powerful, that's the problem
And would you teach it to Pory2 or Z?
Darmanitan isn't the best UU, I still think either Porygon2 or PorygonZ because their cries are sick Porygon2 has eviolite and PorygonZ life orb and with a timid nature he can out speed most UU threats
>>27877250
Yeah I don't know why everyone says he has shit speed. Sure he's frail and his speed is average, but he's not cofagrigus slow or whatever. He's got good speed for his tier, it's why he's not OU. If he had like, 115 speed, he'd definitely be OU.
>>27877466
Any time, friendo.
