Funny thing about mega heracross is I actually love the design but it looks so different to the regular heracross I hate it as a mega. I just wish it was it's own pokemon with maybe a different colour to differentiate.

Of my favourites that got Megas I really like Charizard Y, Swampert, Aggron, Camerupt, Altaria, Abomasnow and Gallade

A few Megas made me like the line more than I did previously, in particular I love Mega Pidgeot's design and Mega Mawile is a big improvement. Mega Ampharos is great too.

Unfortunately Sharpedo is also one of my favs and its Mega is disgustingly bad.

Are you high? First of all, 30 points wasted into defense which was already incredibly high. Second, base 125 attack is mediocre as hell on a Pokemon that can't hold any boosting items.On top of this it has an ability that is so situational that it might not even be there so I don't really get how you don't see it as a bad mega. And as if all of the previous things weren't bad enough already, M-Aggron completely outclasses it.

What would M-Steelix need then? Different stat distribution definitely, with those 30 points put into attack or special defense to either make it hit harder or bulkier or the special side, reaching either 155 attack or 125 special defense. It should also have a useful ability such as Heatproof or in the ideal case, a unique ability that automatically triggers gravity.

Same, but in all honestly M-Sableye is probably one of the best megas created so far in terms of design. It actually makes sense and isn't just "same Pokemon but with more spikes/larger body" like a lot of megas are.

The only real gripe I have with it is that the Special Attack and Attack stats are the same, when its attack was higher in base form. Would've definitely preferred M-Sableye having a little bit more Attack.

M-Alakazam has almost the same damage as LO Alakazam while being way faster and a little more bulky (making it even harder to revenge kill with priority moves). AFAIK, M-Alakazam is more popular than standard Alakazam in both battle spot and smogon metagame (but I might be wrong).

I've never had an issue with megas because the Pokémon I like have always gotten good ones. Glalie might be the exception
