Geewun has a lot of flaws but sorry faggots I liked this and I wish it came back.

It made your visit to the Pokemon center important in each town. Had to manage your items and boxes. It essentially makes the game more fun for me. Boxes auto-changing and infinite items is too handholdy for my taste.

Dratini wasn't even that rare, it was the bullshit safari zone mechanics that made it a pain to catch and those could be circumvented with either trainer fly or the cinnabar glitch. Either that or mash A a million times and just buy one from the game corner.

This is what made me stop trying to catch legendaries in Pokemon Yellow. My first game was Gold but then later I played Yellow and every time I threw a ball at a legendary Pokemon, it missed, and they didn't give any explanation why or how to make it hit. So I just stopped trying, thinking it was impossible.

I dislike having a bag filled with unnamed TMs and not being able to get more items because I have 20 items with me. In my playthrough of yellow the PC also got full around Fuchsia.
Bill's PC switch box thing was also shitty, and not being able to catch pokémon due to full boxes caught me by surprise completely. Luckily I was trying to get a geodude when that happened.

The way it was lined out in gen 1 was shit but item management itself is a great thing for a game like this.

It makes your town visits matter more past a gym battle or some evil team event.

You get to a town and you check your resources. You put unneeded items in the PC, you make sure your box isn't full or close to full, you heal up and continue your journey.

I like it. I wish it wasn't dropped.

Bullshit. You're a fucking liar. I actually have a living Pokédex with every single gender difference and alternate form that can be transferred into Pokémon Bank. It takes 30 Boxes and and extra 8 slots of storage space to truly catch 'em all. That leaves you with only your Party, Battle Box, and 22 free slots remaining. Unless you're a cheap asshole that can't be bothered to spend $5 USD, you need to store them in Pokémon Bank if you want to do any sort of competitive breeding.
