If the Magikarp all have quick claws, then several of them will land Hydro Pumps or Bounce and the Zapdos will eventually be taken down.

It's going to take 1000 turns to beat all the magikarp if nothing misses. So even with all attacking moves, zapdos runs out of PP and struggles to death leaving hundreds of magikarp unscathed.

All Magikarps hava a Focus Sash and even if they do the minimum damage of 1 HP per hit, they will still cripple Zapdos.

If it fights them in horde battles and has Round, Heat Wave, Shock Wave, and Discharge and is able to one shot every Magikarp with those moves and has a PP Max used on each the Zapdos will still only take down 480 Magikarp before it starts struggling
