My biggest problem is the legs. Quadra pedal I can handle, but just LOOK at them! They're round, fat, the feet have no stability to them, not even any back toes to them, it's terrible. A common complaint is that Darmanitan is too spherical or has a weird body shape. I disagree. I feel like its round shape makes it like a living fireball, and its long forearms (as opposed to its stubby hind legs) are perfect for vaulting itself around and into opponents.

Not that anon but I prefer unbound Hoopa as well. I'm not even that into humanoid pokemon, but for some reason regular Hoopa feels too similar to the stuff we've gotten before.

Unbound Hoopa feels more new to me. The teeth, face, and body make it look genuinely intimidating, I love the floating forearms, and the darker colour palette is much easier on the eyes than normal Hoopa's bright magenta + yellow on flat grey combo.

Interesting. I don't hate unbound hoopa by any means, its a great design, but hoopa just feels more like a pokemon to me. Its color scheme actual appeals to me more than unbound's, and the smaller body and more simple design seem better to me.

I just like little hoopa more, I even like the typing more than unbound's.

I see what you mean. It is a little hard for me to remember that unbound Hoopa is meant to be a pokemon, but then we had stuff like Machamp and Hitmonchan back in gen 1.

I think Confined Hoopa (just looked up the name) would look better if it had a more purplish base colour like in the fanart you posted, instead of grey. The warmer shade of yellow for the hoops also looks much nicer.

I think both typings are really fitting for each form. I'm not sure how the heck I'd use either in battle, though.

Well, fanart always makes pokemon look better than they really are, completely agree with those aesthetic changes, it'd look much nicer and cuter. And I'm not saying unbound isnt a pokemon, I'm just saying confined is more like what you think of when you think of pokemon.

You use them the same, as special or mixed sweepers with amazing STAB and scarf/specs depending on your preference, the only difference is unbound is stronger and isn't rendered dead by pursuit or sucker punch
