I like green Poliwrath, though. Makes him look like the frog he always wanted to be.

Really not helping your case here, bub.
To be fair, the shiny colours in the first 5 gens weren't individually chosen, it's just an algorithmic pallet swap. Now that that isn't the case though they should really change the bed shiny colours (decent shiny megas alone doesn't really cut it and they've changed shinies before (ponyta, elekid I think?))
>>27831911
This right here shows the biggest issue, not only is it green it's a really shitty, garish and ugly shade of green, and almost all green shiny pokemon have equally shitty shades of green.
>>27832235
People always say that, but I've never actually seen any proof.
>>27832164
Cute

Also Charizard. Pre-gen 5 shiny Charizard was a weird purple.
And while youre right gen 6 has no pallet swap shinies (except Froakie/Frogadier?) that doesnt mean none of them were intentionally designed; Gyarados, Magikarp, Metagross, Nidoran line (sans Nidoqueen?), Crobat, etc., all have custom shiny pallets.

i love my shiny charizard, things my pride and joy. took slightly over 100 egg hatches without using the Masuda Method. i was so lucky
