You can do a nice doubles gimmick with Round. Say you have a Scarfed Accelgor and Specs Sylveon. Once Accelgor goes first and uses Round, Sylveon will use its Round immediately after, regardless of speed.

It's gimmicky as all fuck, but you can keep doing it since it builds in power each time.

I'll go through and try to list the move's effect from memory.
>Ice Ball
Ice typed Rollout, Spheal's signature move
>Punishment
Dark type physical move with variable power depending on target's stat changes
>Swallow
Healing move that uses Stockpile charges.
>Spit Up
Normal type special move that uses Stockpile charges, BP is 250 at max charges.
>Hold Back
False Swipe renamed, event only
>Vacuum Wave
Fighting typed special quick attack, croagunk learns it
>Round
Normal typed special 60 bp sound move that doubles in power if used with an ally, all subsequent users move immediately after the fastest one
>Quash
Dark typed physical wring out.
>Beat Up
Dark typed physical move with variable BP based on the number of status free pokemon on your team.
>Powder
Priority move that stops fire typed moves and does damage, Vivillion's signature move
>Miracle Eye
Lets psychic types hit dark types if used the turn before.
>Fairy Lock
Haven't the slightest.
>Rupture
Pretty sure it isn't a move.
>Rototiller
Helps adjacent grass types somehow
>Brine
Water typed special 60 bp doubles in power if the target is at half health or lower.
>Snarl
Dark typed special move that lowers the target's special attack
>Celebrate
Does nothing.
>Fell stinger
+6 attack if it faints the target, bug typed physical and 20 bp or something
>Mat Block, Quick Guard, Wide Guard, Copycat
Someone has never played VGC.
>Hold Hands
Does nothing.
>Kinesis
Psychic typed sand attack.
>Steamroller
Bug typed physical move with a chance to flinch. 60 bp, whirlipede's signature move

Quash and Beat Up are wrong.
Quash makes the target move last in the turn.
Beat Up has 10 (or 20, don't remember if they changed it) base power. It hits as many party member you have that aren't in battle plus the user itself. It uses the attack stat of the named Pokémon for each hit.

Fairy Lock is a worse Block. It doesn't let to switch out during the turn. Klefki's signature, don't know if works if used in a turn where the opponent is switching out.

Rototiller es basically Growth/Work Up but for partners that are Grass Type.
Snarl hits every enemy in double battles.
Fell Stinger would be great if it nets +6. Sadly, only +2.
>>
>>27832061
if a greninja run's mattblock they often run U-turn as well so it often get's spammed a few times, It doesn't have priority though so that's a decent counter to it

I had a feeling I was butchering Beat Up's exact mechanics.

>Submission
Fighting typed physical move with 80 bp and 80 acc, recoil, only notable for being a TM in Gen 1 where almost everything could learn it.
>Ally Switch
Increased priority move that swaps positions with an ally in double/triple battles.
>Belch
Poison typed special move 120 BP can only be used if the pokemon ate a berry during this battle.
>Bestow
Give the target your held item.
>Block
Prevents escape
>Coil
+1 attack, +1 defense, +1 accuracy
>Dual Chop
Dragon typed physical move, hits twice, 40 BP, Axew's signature
>Eerie Impulse
-2 special attack to target
>Electrify
Target's next move is electric type
>Fairy Shield
I was going to say it was one of Klefki's obscure signature moves but that's Crafty Shield
>Happy Hour
Amulet Coin effect, event only
>Head Charge
Normal physical move with 120 BP and recoil, Bouffalant's signature
>Heat Crash
Fire type physical Heavy Slam
>Ice Burn
Ice type special, 140 BP charge move with a chance to burn, Bonus points Freeze Shock is the same with a chance to paralyze and physical instead. Signature of the Kyurem fusions.
>Light of Ruin
Fairy type special 140 bp with 50% recoil, signature of Edgy Floette
>Magnetic Flux
You got me.
>Night Daze
Dark type special move that has a chance to lowers target's accuracy and has 85 BP. Has 90 or 95 accuracy. Zoroark's signature.
>Noble Roar
-1 attack/-1 special attack to target, Pyroar's signature.
>Parting Gift
Parting Shot* -1 attack/-1 special attack to target, then switches out user. Pangoro's signature, Use against magic bouncers in obscure OM's for best effect.
>Relic Song
Meloetta's signature and transformation move, 75BP normal special with 10% chance of sleep.
>Rock Wrecker
Rock type giga impact.
>Sharpen
+1 attack
>Shift Gear
+1 attack, +2 speed, Klinklang's signature
>Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves
Zygarde's unreleased signature, ground type and hit ground immunes I think.
>Venom Drench
Some gimmick
>>
Flower Shield
>>
>>27832210
Maybe you meant Vaccum Cut.
>>
Bounce
>>
>>27832341
>Triple Kick
Fighting physical 10 BP hits thrice doubles in bp with each successive hit, <100% accuracy, hitmontop's signature
>Rock Climb
Normal physical 90 bp chance of confusion, <100% accuracy, also an HM so hardly forgettable
>Rolling Kick
Fighting physical 60 bp chance to flinch, <100% accuracy, Hitmonlee's signature
>Petal Blizzard
Physical grass surf, made Florges good for Horde battles.
>Ion Deluge
+1 priority all normal moves that turn become electric type, Electivire gimmick /w motor drive
>Flower Shield
Adjacent grass types buff, florges exclusive, guessing it's +1 defense/+1 special defense
>Bounce
Gyarados's only flying move. It's like fly except worse and has a chance to paralyze

>>27832418
Does Chansey not learn Barrage?
>>
>>27832628
>Triple Kick
Once I entered to Battle Factory on SS and rented a Hitmontop with that move in conjuction with Focus Energy, almost all Pokemon were defeated by that move after I used Focus Energy. Truly an interesting move but somewhat weak

>Hits three times in a turn, each time it hits the Base Power is increased by 10 (first turn 10 BP, second turn 20 BP, third turn 30 BP)
>This move is boosted by Technician
>>
>>27832989
First actual forgettable move of this thread, Egg Bomb is a 100 bp/75 accuracy normal move that is inexplicably Physical as well as a TM in Gen 1. Only Exeggcute's line and Chansey (and Mew) could learn it in Gen 1, and in every gen since then it's been a level up move for those two.
>>
>>27831707
happy hour, anyone?
I think it's jap exclusive so I'm wondering how well known it is
>>
>>27833056
Only reason I know it's effect is because /vp/ talked about Happy Hour Inkay back when it was being distributed.

I only know about Beat Up because of the ridiculous exploit that made me take a break from triples.

>Send out a Pokemon with Justified and one next to it with Beat Up
>Use Beat Up on your own Justified Pokemon
>Attack raises six stages in a single turn
>Everything is pain
>>
>>27833179
Read OP's comment. This is about moves, not about the Pokemon.
>>
>>27833357

>>

>>
>>27833179
I kek'd at this but then I forgot why
>>
>>27833507
In competitive they're the exact same considering you can set happiness
In game it's much worse, considering it gets weaker the longer you have the Pokemon
>>
>Ctrl + F
>"Reflect Type"
>No results

Step aside, THIS is the true most forgettable move, you probably don't even know it exists: http://serebii.net/attackdex-xy/reflecttype.shtml

Reflect Type was introduced in BW, and only three Pokémon could learn it: Mew, Latias, and Staryu. Staryu was the only Pokémon you could obtain in BW that could learn it, and even then it's a postgame Pokémon, so most players probably never came across this move.
>>
>>27832669
That's why you use it after the ruse is up anyway.
>>
>>27831724
vacuum wave nasty plot lucario / infernape can sweep unsuspecting teams
>>
>>27833750
Tentacruel could learn it too
>>
>>27833750
Reflect Type is literally the only reason Starmie is OU on Gen VI because Water/Psychic is truly a fucked up typing.
>>
What the fuck is the point of Aurora beam even?
It's way too strong to be an early level ice move, it's way too weak to be on the level of a strong ice move, it's at 65 power which means it can't even get a technician boost and that any Pokemon can just get the same results by just running Hidden Power Ice.

Yeah compared to Ice Beam's higher base power and having a 10% chance to freeze the opponent, Aurora Beam sucks.
>>
>>27834154
Because back in the Gen 1/2 days when movepool was limited and Ice Beam TM weren't infinite, it was probably the best ice attack you could get.

Unfortunately mine lacks Calm Mind due to the ridiculous barrier of getting both Vacuum Wave and Nasty Plot (Hitmonchan can only get it by Heart Scale, which I then need to find a Female Lucario - Riolu cant breed - to breed with the 'chan and then level the resulting VW Riolu up to level 47...)

This is memorable because it's the most baffling move in Pokemon. A damage dealing move that doesn't do damage. And on the rare occurrences when it does do damage, either the opponent resists it (because Psychic type) or the user doesn't get STAB. And to top it all off it had only 70 base power when it was introduced. What were GF thinking?
