It's beerus with green ears and a neon green cape. The color scheme is probably the most off putting. Looks like it was trying to copy Eva unit 01, but that is way too much neon lime green. The feet look like they should be on a duck. The tail gives it more of a cat than bat look. If you wanted something to look more like Dracula then go with Dracula themed colors. Instead they went with halloween the cat sans orange.

Also no, it's not about the wording. There is such a thing as objective qualities to art. There are proper techniques to painting, filmmaking, writing, etc. Yes, there are examples of works that break rules that end up great, but they are great in spite of that fact, not because of it. A good artist will find other ways to compensate for their artistic choice in breaking those rules. But also, I'm talking about good artists.

Plenty of adequate or mediocre artists can unintentionally create enjoyable art, but that doesn't automatically make their art good. I love the Sylvester Stallone Judge Dredd film, but it falls for several trapings that qualify it as a bad movie, cliché stunts, hackneyed writing, hammy performances, etc.

You can enjoy these fakemons, but know that the majority are shit. All of these people calling the designs shit aren't conspiring against you, telling you ya have shit taste. And complaining about the subjectivity of this makes you sound ignorant.

I like how they fucked up even the starters design wise. Having a floral pattern doesn't make something a grass type (otherwise Munna would be one) and neither does being green. With the exception of Mow Rotom, every grass type has some plant like quality(grass growing on them or parts of their body that looks like a plant) or is outright a type of plant or a mushroom.

Metalynx is also a truly awful name.

It's mostly shit. I was curious and played it for a few hours. Them sprites, those gyms, the grinding sessions I had to do before each gym, 2 evolutions, weird mechanics (scrolling through moves???). I'll admit the overworld is pleasant and its nice to look at. Music was okay. They only did like 4 nuclear mons which sucks because more probably what would have made the game more fun. And the first mons you encounter are the fakest looking mons who dont eben have the same potential as say pidgey. Tbh should have made the focus of the game on the new nuclear type, focus less on fakemons, and kept some of the comfortable mechanics we're used to in regular games

My problem with Uranium is that they have no grasp how a Pokémon design is supposed to work. They just throw together cool looking shit. What about a lightningbolt tiger? Or a buzzsaw mantis? A steel dragon with awesome talons!!!!

There is no inspiration, no background, no lore, no basis to these designs. Something a gifted 14-yo draws in his notebooks instead of listening to the teacher because he is an underchallenged sperg kid in math class.

it will never reach the finesse of designs like Garbodor, or Farfetch'd and so on who are willingly bland or ugly to confer a deeper meaning behind the design.

Masking is probably the only 'mon in the whole dex I could see actually being in a real Pokemon game without looking out of place. There isn't one other critter that has that "this is a Pokemon" feel to me, not even the little guy's evolution. Even the designs that I do like (Dramsama is pretty and the steel/dragon thing on treads is kind of endearingly goofy) I'd rather see in something not Pokemon-related.
